The acclaimed group Marca MP unveils their new single “MATO,” a corrido that tells a story of effort, sacrifice, and perseverance — the journey of someone who had to leave their homeland in search of a better life in California.
Blending emotion and energy, “MATO” pays tribute to the spirit of those who chase their dreams far from home.
The track will be part of their upcoming album titled Historias sin contar.
Released in collaboration with Prajin Music Group, the single arrives alongside its official music video, now available on YouTube.
The overall concept and visual direction of the project were developed by So Hood GFX, who captured the duality between urban and traditional elements in a collage inspired by the line “Pero la vida te cambia y a Califas fui a parar.”
The result is a piece filled with identity, texture, and strength — reaffirming Marca MP’s place in the new wave of regional Mexican music.
