Reynaldos De La Sierra are back with “B@BOSAAA 60,” a new album out now via Double P Records. The project collects twelve covers of some of the biggest songs in today’s regional mexicano scene, from Fuerza Regida and Neton Vega to Eden Muñoz, Luis R. Conriquez and Midland. The group runs every one of them through its signature sierreño alteñado sound.

A Sierreño Legacy, Sixty Albums Deep

Reynaldo Valenzuela Almada founded Reynaldos De La Sierra in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, in 2000. More than 25 years later, the group is led by his son Jesús Reynaldo on accordion and lead vocals, alongside his cousins Kevin Arrieta and Omar Rodríguez. In early 2025 the trio joined Double P Records, and the releases haven’t slowed down since. “PERRÓN 58” arrived in March 2026 and “CHULA ELLA 59” followed in July. Now “B@BOSAAA 60” keeps the count going.

This time the focus is the present. Instead of revisiting the classics, Reynaldos take on songs a new generation already knows by heart. They stay close to the spirit of each original while adding their own instrumentation and attitude. The centerpiece is “Pvta Luna,” first recorded by Neton Vega and rebuilt here with accordion-led sierreño energy. Other tracks include “Ansiedad,” “Muchacho Alegre” and “Tu Sancho.”

The Art Behind the Sound

So Hood GFX (Rodrigo Pérez) designed the official cover for “B@BOSAAA 60.” The design started from a direct reference from Reynaldos De La Sierra themselves. From there it was reworked into something new.

The group’s name got a modern chrome treatment, a detail that gives the cover a fresh, current edge. The album title went the other way: gold lettering, a classic of the genre that ties the record back to the tradition Reynaldos have carried for more than 25 years. The result sums up what the album does musically, with today’s hits on top and a timeless sierreño foundation underneath.

“B@BOSAAA 60” by Reynaldos De La Sierra is out now on all platforms via Double P Records.
